1)      Tournaments are open to anyone over the age of 18 or older or fish with  someone 18 years or older and have signed consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2)       Entry fees for each team will be $100 per team 95% payback!

3)       4)      Entry fees must be paid in full and received 7 days prior to the tournament date. Any entry fees following this date there will be a $10 late fee. There will also be a $50 charge for any bounced check and that contestant will no longer be eligible for any Big Bass Addict tournaments.

4)       Cash only at launch site and remember the extra $10.

 

5)       Big Bass is optional for each tournament, it is $10 for Island Lake Chain and

       $20 for Chetek chain, winner take all.

6)       There is also an optional side pot of $10 per team for those fishing both                                                    

              tournaments.  It must be paid prior to the first tournament

              It will be  

              paid out to the  team with the heaviest combined weight of both     

              tournaments.

              If there is a tie it will be split between the teams.

      7)   Each tournament is limited to a max of 30 boats.

8)      Can only have a maximum of two participates per boat during tournament hours!  If your team is participating in the optional side pot, you must fish with the same partner for both tournaments.

9 )     Launch time is 6 am for both tournaments and weigh in starts at 2:30 PM.

10)      Launch positions will be determined as you check in prior to launch with a random drawing.  Tournament directors will be fishing. Last boat to launch will send out boats.

11)      There will be a meeting at the launch site approximately 30 min prior to launch that is mandatory to attend by at least one person per team.

12)     Safe boating conduct must be observed at all times. Each competitor is required to wear a Coast Guard certified life vest securely fastened at all times while the boat is being propelled by the combustion engine.

13)  Each contestant is expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy and conversation. No boat may fish within 50 yards of another competitor who is anchored and has in trolling motor up. Also may not fish with in 25 yards of an anchored non-contestant with trolling motor up without asking permission first.

14)  Only artificial baits may be used. No live or cut bait is permitted. All bass must be caught alive in a legal and sporting manner. Only one fishing line allowed in water per angler at any given time. Pork trailers my be used.

15)  All participates must are required to abide by all state laws and game regulations in your area.

16)  A limit of 8 bass of legal size may be weighed in unless otherwise stated by your local fish and game regulations. Length will be measured on a golden rule with mouth closed. Dead fish will be a penalty of ½ weight of dead fish. Only largemouth and smallmouth bass may be weighed in.

17)  Competitors shall remain with their partners in the boat at all times during the tournament. In case of a breakdown, one partner may return with fish by another tournament boat keeping fish separate from boat taking you in. While the other partner is permitted to stay with disabled boat. Boat bringing in other boater must still be in at weigh in time.

18)  All boats must have operating live well systems and large enough to keep 8 bass alive during the tournament.

19)  Weigh in will be first come first serve. All live bass will be released following weigh in.

20)  Competitors who are not checked in at weigh in time will be penalized at a rate of one pound per minute up to 15 minutes at which time they will be disqualified.

21)  Any short fish under the local size limit, brought in to the weigh-in time will lead to disqualification of the participants largest fish plus the short fish.

22)  Any protest must be submitted in writing to the tournament director prior to the scales being closed.

23)  Interpretation of these rules will be left up exclusively to the tournament director.

24)  A polygraph test may be required of anyone accused of acquired fish illegally or any other illegal activities. If the competitor does not pass the polygraph test, then they are not eligible for prized and/or money. Those contestants who fail this test will no longer be eligible for any other tournaments held by Cash For Bass. Any expense involved in a polygraph test will be the protestors’ responsibility. If a competitor is asked to take a polygraph test and they refuse, they will forfeit any prize money for that tournament and band from any future tournaments by this circuit.

25)  Alcoholic Beverages will not be permitted during tournament hours.

26)  Absolutely no Cell phone or 2-way radio use during the tournament no matter what except an emergency. If caught using one of the two for something other that an emergency, that team will be disqualified for that tournament.

27)  No under water cameras may be used during tournament hours or for pre-fishing!

28)  Tournament waters is off limits at 12:01 am the day of the tournament till launch.

29)  Winner and other place finishers are determined by total weight brought in by each team. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by the weight of the teams biggest bass.  Big bass determined by weight of bass. If there is a tie for big bass, the pot will be split.

30)  All decisions by the tournament director are final!

31)  For cancellations, a team must cancel 7 days prior to the tournament for a full refund minus $10 handling fee per tournament. Following this there will be no refunds and the entry fee will be used for payout in that tournament!

32) The owner of the boat being used must carry minimum of $100,000 liability insurance.

      Proof of insurance may be asked for at the meeting.

33) All participates must have a vaild fishing license for the state the tournament is being held.
